Cut the sugar, you are already sweet enough! Added sugar may taste good but it is contributing to your weight gain, and it is linked to obesity, diabetes and heart disease. On average, people are eating around 75 grams of sugar per day. That’s 13 more teaspoons than the recommended amount for women!
According to the American Heart Association, women should have no more than 6 teaspoons of added sugar per day (or 25 grams).

1 Can of Coke – 33 grams
1 Chocolate bar – 50 grams
2 Chocolate chip cookies – 9 grams
Low fat yogurt – 31 grams
2 Tablespoons of BBQ Sauce – 12 grams
