Insulin Resistance and the Connection to Belly Fat

Insulin Resistance and the Connection to Belly Fat

If you are over 40 and 15 lbs or more overweight you are already insulin resistant.

Insulin is our fat storage hormone and when we eat carbohydrates such as: potatoes, rice, cookies, crackers, bread, pasta, beer, white flour, unsweetened juices, wine the insulin is secreted to digest the sugar. Wen we’re over 40 and 15 lbs overweight our body is secreting the insulin to digest the sugar but it doesn’t do a good job because it’s resistant and it keeps pumping out more and more insulin and we get bigger and bigger and this causes insulin resistance which eventually leads to diabetes.

It doesn’t matter if you eat well, in order to stop the insulin blood sugar battle you need to resist the bad carbohydrates!

This can be reversed by changing the diet, and having protein at every meal and good carbohydrates like vegetables, the greener the colour the better!
